What are the
Communi-T Nights?

The CommuniT Nights are the perfect opportunity for citizens of the Haut-Saint-Laurent region to meet and share a good meal. The theme of each night and the meal served will change for each edition. The location of the event will also be different each time, as it will travel across the Haut-Saint-Laurent region.

In relation to the themes, community organizations will prepare activities to which the citizens can participate, in addition to discussing with their representatives on-site. Where did the idea come from?

The Communi-T nights were born from a consultation between all community actors. The MRC Haut-Saint-Laurent was looking to create an event that would allow citizens and local organizations to meet in a common space. To do so, they were inspired by surrounding urban communities, which were hosting such get-togethers. These events would gather different community organizations in a local school, alternating between francophone and anglophone spheres, while providing citizens with a free meal and childcare.
